Dear ACA Families and Students,
As this school year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest joy and gratitude for the incredible journey we have shared. It has been an absolute honor to serve this community, and I am so proud of everything our staff, students and families have accomplished.
I am stepping away knowing that our school is being left in great hands. As you move forward, I encourage everyone to continue anchoring yourselves in our core philosophies—especially positive discipline—which keep our classrooms safe, respectful, and supportive. Let’s make sure we always keep joy, community, and world-class learning at the heart of everything we do.
Thank you all for your unwavering support, your partnership, and the beautiful memories. Keep learning, keep supporting one another, and continue making this community a truly special place.
Wishing you all a wonderful, safe, and restful summer. Enjoy the sunshine, take time to recharge with your families, and I look forward to seeing the amazing things this community will continue to achieve!

HIGHLIGHTS 
Field day on Wednesday, June 10th: It’s an ACA tradition to celebrate the end of school and kick-off summer with field day every other year. This year is a field day year!
We will need 10+ volunteers to help the event run smoothly. The games will begin around 8:45am and run until 11:30am. If you would enjoy leading teams of kiddos and playing with hula hoops, beach balls, water balloons, and even rubber chickens, or help out in any way, then please let our office staff know you are interested in playing with us!

Family Network Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 3pm. The board welcomes and encourages all ACA families to attend the meetings. Check with the calendar. below to find out the next meeting. See attached document for this school’s year schedule
Charter Council: The Charter Council is our governing board. The board meets usually on the second Thursday of the month @ 4PM. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date/time, or call the office at 925-755-7311 to confirm. These meetings are open to the public – all are welcomed!

The ACA Family Network is made up of ACA adults who volunteer for fundraisers and social events for the enrichment of our children. The money we raise goes back to our school for study trips, family activities, assemblies, and classroom supplies. If you have a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/

REMINDERS
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. No delivery services are allowed on campus.
Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence. This helps the school, which helps your student!
Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only. Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin. Thank You.

A medida que este año escolar llega a su fin, deseo expresar mi más profunda alegría y gratitud por el increíble viaje que hemos compartido. Ha sido un honor absoluto servir a esta comunidad, y me siento sumamente orgullosa de todo lo que nuestro personal, estudiantes y familias han logrado.
Me retiro sabiendo que nuestra escuela queda en excelentes manos. A medida que avanzan, animo a todos a seguir cimentándose en nuestras filosofías fundamentales —especialmente la disciplina positiva—, las cuales mantienen nuestras aulas seguras, respetuosas y solidarias. Asegurémonos de mantener siempre la alegría, la comunidad y un aprendizaje de clase mundial en el centro de todo lo que hacemos.

DESTACADOS
Día de actividades al aire libre (Field Day) el miércoles 10 de junio: Es una tradición de ACA celebrar el fin del año escolar y dar inicio al verano con un día de actividades al aire libre cada dos años. ¡Este año toca día de actividades!
Necesitaremos más de 10 voluntarios para ayudar a que el evento se desarrolle sin contratiempos. Los juegos comenzarán alrededor de las 8:45 a. m. y continuarán hasta las 11:30 a. m. Si les gustaría dirigir equipos de niños y jugar con aros de hula-hula, pelotas de playa, globos de agua e incluso pollos de goma, o ayudar de cualquier otra manera, ¡por favor avisen al personal de nuestra oficina que están interesados en jugar con nosotros!
