 Volume 30, Issue 36,  June 1, 2026

Hello ACA Families!

Thank you to all of the families and students who came out last Wednesday for the Showcase of the Arts!  The kids and Wednesday teachers did an amazing job and it was great to see all of the families.

The end of the year is approaching at lightning speed and we want all of the students to finish with their personal best.  Part of giving personal best means attending class on time and being prepared.  There is still a lot of learning happening the last few weeks of school, so it is important that kids are making it to school on time and ready to learn!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Hummel

Volunteer of the Year…Kelly MacCallister!  Each year, our staff comes together to recognize a parent who has truly gone “Above & Beyond” for our campus. Thank you, Kelly, for the many years of service and support that you and your family have given to our school community. Your name has now joined the plaque that hangs in the office! You will be greatly missed as your youngest graduates this year!

Field day on Wednesday, June 10th: It’s an ACA tradition to celebrate the end of school and kick-off summer with field day every other year. This year is a field day year!

We will need 10+ volunteers to help the event run smoothly.  The games will begin around 8:45am and run until 11:30am.  If you would enjoy leading teams of kiddos and playing with hula hoops, beach balls, water balloons, and even rubber chickens, or help out in any way, then please let our office staff know you are interested in playing with us!

Family Network Survey: Family Network would love to hear your feedback about all major events this year! Once you fill the survey below fully out, you get a free drink at our next event. Shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes!

ACA Family Engagement Survey 2025-2026 Please complete the attached survey.  This survey is for ACA families to reflect on ACA’s progress, successes, needs, and areas of growth, specifically in the area of parent and family engagement.

Read each prompt and choose from the scale of 1 to 5.  Keep in mind, low scores are not to be seen as negative, but as ways to identify an area of growth.

Thank you for your time.

Mr. Fuller

School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/rZ1t5W7mzwJnxkXY8

You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from.  No delivery services are allowed on campus.

Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence.  This helps the school, which helps your student!

Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only.  Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin.  Thank You.

Sr. Fuller
