Hey ACA Family!
Two of our main philosophies here at ACA are Collaboration and Community Partnerships. All our students learn to work together, share ideas, and celebrate each other’s strengths. Through team projects, group discussions, and community partnerships, they discover the power of teamwork and empathy.
This week, we get to see these philosophies in action! Our Middle Schoolers are in the midst of their Career Unit, and they are heading out to take on their job shadow/internship for the next 3 days. Our students have partnered with community members to explore different careers and work alongside them to see what their future career path can be.
At ACA, we know that when we learn together, we grow together — creating a community where every voice matters. Collaboration and our community is at the heart of everything we do!

The 2026 ACA Walk-A-Thon is here! Support our students and their fitness, as they walk to support our school & the programs we love! This will take place on April 1st @ 10:00am – 2:00pm at Mira Vista Park!

3. April Fools WalkAThon: We’re giving a free lap to students who wear something silly and colorful! Fools Examples: silly hats, tall colorful socks/mismatched socks, Wednesday shirt on backwards and more! Show us your creativity!
This year, our goal is to raise $6,000 to support important programs: PE, Music, Personal Safety, Art & Field Trips. Student goal $100, ask 10 people to pledge $10!
If 60 families succeed, we make our goal of $6000! Let’s go ACA!!!
CAASPP: Each year, students in grades three through eight (and high school) participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). Please make sure to not take your child out of school on testing days – testing usually takes place in the mornings.

Volleyball is the next and final sport of the school year for the Wildcats! We are excited to see our 6-8th grade students continue to participate in athletics.

Family Network Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 3pm. The board welcomes and encourages all ACA families to attend the meetings. Check with the calendar. below to find out the next meeting. See attached document for this school’s year schedule
Charter Council: The Charter Council is our governing board. The board meets usually on the second Thursday of the month @ 4PM. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date/time, or call the office at 925-755-7311 to confirm. These meetings are open to the public – all are welcomed!

Family Network (FN) – Get Involved!
The ACA Family Network is made up of ACA adults who volunteer for fundraisers and social events for the enrichment of our children. The money we raise goes back to our school for study trips, family activities, assemblies, and classroom supplies. If you have a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/

REMINDERS
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. No delivery services are allowed on campus.
Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence. This helps the school, which helps your student!
Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only. Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin. Thank You.

¡Hola, familia ACA!
Dos de nuestras principales filosofías en ACA son la colaboración y las alianzas comunitarias. Todos nuestros estudiantes aprenden a trabajar juntos, compartir ideas y valorar las fortalezas de los demás. A través de proyectos en equipo, debates grupales y alianzas comunitarias, descubren el poder del trabajo en equipo y la empatía.
Esta semana, ¡podemos ver estas filosofías en acción! Nuestros estudiantes de secundaria están en pleno desarrollo de su Unidad de Carreras y se preparan para realizar su práctica profesional durante los próximos 3 días. Nuestros estudiantes se han asociado con miembros de la comunidad para explorar diferentes carreras y trabajar junto a ellos para ver cuál puede ser su futuro profesional.
En ACA, sabemos que cuando aprendemos juntos, crecemos juntos, creando una comunidad donde cada voz cuenta. ¡La colaboración y nuestra comunidad son la base de todo lo que hacemos!

¡Ya llegó la Caminata ACA 2026! ¡Apoya a nuestros estudiantes y su bienestar físico mientras caminan para apoyar a nuestra escuela y los programas que tanto nos apasionan! Se llevará a cabo el 1 de abril de 10:00 a. m. a 2:00 p. m. en el Parque Mira Vista.

CAASPP: Cada año, los estudiantes de tercero a octavo grado (y de preparatoria) participan en la Evaluación del Rendimiento y Progreso Estudiantil de California (CAASPP). Por favor, asegúrese de no sacar a su hijo/a de la escuela los días de las pruebas, ya que suelen realizarse por la mañana.
16 de marzo, primer día del tercer trimestre (nuevas optativas para 4.º a 8.º grado)
16-18 de marzo, prácticas profesionales en la escuela secundaria – fuera del campus
20 de marzo, ⅓ de la clase de la escuela secundaria en la granja (FHF)

PRÓXIMOS ANUNCIOS ESCOLARES
¡El voleibol es el próximo y último deporte del año escolar para los Wildcats! Nos emociona ver a nuestros estudiantes de 6.º a 8.º grado seguir participando en deportes.

Las reuniones de la Red Familiar se realizan el segundo viernes de cada mes a las 15:00 h. La junta directiva invita y anima a todas las familias de ACA a asistir. Consulten el calendario a continuación para conocer la próxima reunión. Consulten el documento adjunto para ver el horario de este año escolar.
Consejo de la Escuela Charter: El Consejo de la Escuela Charter es nuestra junta directiva. Se reúne generalmente el segundo jueves de cada mes a las 16:00 h. Consulten el calendario para conocer la fecha y hora de la próxima reunión o llamen a la oficina al 925-755-7311 para confirmar. Estas reuniones son abiertas al público; ¡todos son bienvenidos!
