We will continue our 100 day celebration on monday with the actual 100th day of school before we start our V week activities. Students will practice writing letters to friends and family and will pass Valentines if they wish on Friday :)
VALENTINES
We know many parents are beginning to purchase Valentines for students to pass out to their classmates. We keep our celebration fairly small. Students will do fun art projects and exchange with each other during our overlap time at 11:15. We ask that if your child decides to bring Valentines they bring them for their carpet group OR for the entire class- not individual valentines.
Please make sure Valentines are not personally addressed- and only your child signing their own name- as it takes too long to pass out labeled valentines.

ICE SKATING
Permission slips are due no later than this Friday 2/13 so we can give a deposit to the Dublin ice rink. We are sorry but this is a hard deadline WE CANNOT ACCEPT PERMISSION SLIPS AFTER THIS DATE.
FEBRUARY BREAK
This next week we have February break. While on break please make sure students are reading/ being read too every day. This time of year is when we really start to see a lot of student growth and interest in learning- let’s work together to keep this spark alive by doing a little something academic every day :)
