ACA Primary Newsletter 1/5/26

We hope everyone had a joyful and restful winter break. We are going to ease back into our routines this week before we amp up the academics and move students in the Toucan and Chinchilla groups to weekly contracts next week.

We will finally get back to our music, art and garden classes this week as well and learn about some interesting animals that live in cold snowy places. :)

We wanted to make parents aware that every 15 tardies equals one day absent in the classroom. We have about half of the Primary families come to school 5 to10 or more minutes late every day. We want to make parents aware that we will be tracking tardies now every day and sending home notices to those who exceed 10 tardies from this point on in the school year.

We are in the process of picking a date for our annual ice skating field trip at iceland in Dublin. Please be on the lookout in the next week or so for a permission slip to be sent home in the purple folder.
