 Volume 30, Issue 13,  November 17, 2025

Dear ACA Families,

We had an incredible Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day at ACA on November 14th! Thank you to our students, families, and staff for honoring Ruby Bridges by walking together and reflecting on her courageous act of integrating William Frantz Elementary School in 1960. Ruby’s bravery as a child has inspired generations, and we are proud to keep her story alive by celebrating her living legacy.

This powerful event was a perfect example of bringing lessons to life, and we are committed to extending this principle of active, enriched learning. Our students are so fortunate to have an environment that supports study trips (formerly called field trips) and in-school performances. Highly Effective Teaching tells us that we understand and retain more in an enriched environment, and nothing is more enriching than actually being there in the real world and in performing what we know!

Sincerely,

Edna Heller, Co-Administrator

CONEXIONES

Antioch Charter Academy

Atentamente,
Edna Heller, Coadministradora
