Fall is in the air and conferences are approaching! This is a great time to celebrate the success and learning of your student. Students should attend the conference along with parents since they are the drivers of their education and need to be involved in the discussion. If you have not been invited to a conference, but you would like to have one, please contact your student’s teacher.

HIGHLIGHTS 
Family Flurry of Fun: Don’t miss this free annual event, held in our multi-use room on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30-7pm. Come enjoy winter activities such as hot beverages, s’mores, cookie decorating, iceless ice skating, crafting, raffle, and more! “Family Float Contest” For Flurry, we want to have our own mini parade of floats representing YOU! Please see the attached file for more details. These will be voted on for most creative, most colorful, most entertaining and overall award.
Lost and Found is overflowing. Come claim your students coats, jackets, sweatshirts, shirts, water bottles, etc. before we bag them up and donate them to the Tree Machine bin on Thursday, November 20th.

Family Network Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 3pm. The board welcomes and encourages all ACA families to attend the meetings. Check with the calendar. below to find out the next meeting. See attached document for this school’s year schedule
Charter Council: The Charter Council is our governing board. The board meets usually on the second Thursday of the month @ 4PM. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date/time, or call the office at 925-755-7311 to confirm. These meetings are open to the public – all are welcomed!
FUNdraisers – Ways to Support!
Dining for Dollars: Join us for a delicious way to raise money! Nation’s Giant Hamburgers in Brentwood Fundraiser benefiting Antioch Academy Charter I on Mon 11/17/25 & Tue 11/18/25. **ALL DAY**
Here’s what you need to know:
For in-person, phone orders and online orders: On the day of the fundraiser, guests must mention your group’s name or show the flyer (paper or digital) when ordering in person or mention your group over the phone. For online orders, please make sure the “FUNDRAISER” item is added to the cart before checking out to count toward your fundraiser event.
Please find the attached flyer and instructions for online orders with all the details.
Order breakfast, lunch, dinner, or any of their delicious pies, and our school will receive 20% of the sales from orders that support this fundraiser. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION!
*Gobble Grams FUNdraiser – Family Network is hosting a Thanksgiving Gobble Grams FUNdraiser – a fun way to share Thanksgiving joy!
HOW IT WORKS: Fill out as many personalized Gobble Grams as you’d like, there is no limit! Please return completed Gobble Grams with the funds by Monday, November 17th. Gobble Grams will be delivered in school by Wednesday, November 19th. Surprise a friend, classmate, teacher, or school staff member with a delicious treat. See attached document for details on how to order.

The ACA Family Network is made up of ACA adults who volunteer for fundraisers and social events for the enrichment of our children. The money we raise goes back to our school for study trips, family activities, assemblies, and classroom supplies. If you have a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/

REMINDERS
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. No delivery services are allowed on campus.
Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence. This helps the school, which helps your student!
Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only. Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin. Thank You.

Diversión Familiar: No se pierdan este evento anual gratuito, que se llevará a cabo en nuestra sala de usos múltiples el jueves 11 de diciembre de 5:30 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. ¡Ven a disfrutar de actividades invernales como bebidas calientes, s’mores, decoración de galletas, patinaje sobre hielo sintético, manualidades y mucho más! “Carroza Familiar”

¡Apunta la fecha en tu calendario! ¡Hay muchas actividades! 10 de noviembre: No hay clases – Día de trabajo docente. 11 de noviembre: No hay clases – Día de los Veteranos. 14 de noviembre: Excursión “Marcando la Diferencia” (algunos estudiantes de secundaria) – fuera del centro. 17 y 18 de noviembre: Recaudación de fondos de la Red Familiar: “Días de Cena Fuera” en Nation’s Giant Hamburgers (sucursal de Brentwood). 17 al 21 de noviembre: Jornadas reducidas – salida a las 12:00. 19 de noviembre: Recaudación de fondos de la Red Familiar: Mensajes de Acción de Gracias. 21 de noviembre: Fin del primer trimestre. 24 al 28 de noviembre: Vacaciones de Acción de Gracias – no hay clases. 3 de diciembre: Inicio del segundo trimestre. 4 de diciembre: Experiencia “Estar Presente” para Primaria/Elemental: El Cascanueces (fuera del centro). 5 de diciembre: Reunión de la Red Familiar (todos son bienvenidos) a las 15:15. 11 de diciembre: Recaudación de fondos de la Red Familiar: Noche Familiar “Diversión a Toda Hora”.
PRÓXIMAMENTE ANUNCIOS ESCOLARES PERMANENTES: Las reuniones de la Red Familiar se llevan a cabo el segundo viernes de cada mes a las 3 p. m. Cena solidaria: ¡Únase a nosotros para una deliciosa manera de recaudar fondos! Nation’s Giant Hamburgers en Brentwood organiza una recaudación de fondos a beneficio de Antioch Academy Charter I el lunes 17 y el martes 18 de noviembre de 2025. **TODO EL DÍA**. Información importante: Para pedidos en persona, por teléfono y en línea: El día de la recaudación, al ordenar en persona, los invitados deben mencionar el nombre de su grupo o mostrar el folleto (impreso o digital), o mencionar su grupo por teléfono. Para pedidos en línea, asegúrese de agregar el artículo “RECAUDACIÓN DE FONDOS” al carrito antes de finalizar la compra para que cuente para su evento. Encontrará el folleto adjunto y las instrucciones para pedidos en línea con todos los detalles.
