Hello ACA Families,
Our school community came together in a wonderful way this past week! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Fall Fair. It was a lot of fun to see our community come out and enjoy booths from staff and the student runned Haunted House.
We also want to extend our appreciation to all the volunteers who helped make both the Fall Fair and our Halloween festivities possible. Whether you helped set up, ran an activity, donated supplies, or stayed late to clean up, your efforts brought joy to our students and families alike. Events like these remind us how strong and special our school community truly is.

HIGHLIGHTS 
*Pizza Lunch Fundraiser! You must turn in the slip with the money attached to the office by today, Monday, Nov 3rd. The slip is attached to this email, or you can use the paper copy in the office. On Wednesday, Nov 5th, the food that you have pre-paid for from Costco will be delivered to your student during lunchtime. The Family Network Team
Family Flurry of Fun: Don’t miss this free annual event, held in our multi-use room on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30-7pm. Come enjoy winter activities such as hot beverages, s’mores, cookie decorating, iceless ice skating, crafting, and more!
Did you know our school has 13 Graduate Goals? Well we do, and one of these goals is: “Be able to contribute to society and feel empowered to make change”. With this goal in mind, last year the Middle School class formed a relationship with the organization, Meal on Wheels. A small group of students went out to Stoneman Village in Pittsburg to help residents with their technology questions/needs. This event was so successful that they have requested we come back, so we are going in November! Way to go Middle School Class!

Family Network Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 3pm. The board welcomes and encourages all ACA families to attend the meetings. Check with the calendar. below to find out the next meeting. See attached document for this school’s year schedule
Charter Council: The Charter Council is our governing board. The board meets usually on the second Thursday of the month @ 4PM. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date/time, or call the office at 925-755-7311 to confirm. These meetings are open to the public – all are welcomed!
FUNdraisers – Ways to Support!
Dining for Dollars: Join us for a delicious way to raise money! Nation’s Giant Hamburgers in Brentwood Fundraiser benefiting Antioch Academy Charter I on Mon 11/17/25 & Tue 11/18/25. **ALL DAY**
Here’s what you need to know:
For in-person, phone orders and online orders: On the day of the fundraiser, guests must mention your group’s name or show the flyer (paper or digital) when ordering in person or mention your group over the phone. For online orders, please make sure the “FUNDRAISER” item is added to the cart before checking out to count toward your fundraiser event.
Please find the attached flyer and instructions for online orders with all the details.
Order breakfast, lunch, dinner, or any of their delicious pies, and our school will receive 20% of the sales from orders that support this fundraiser.

*Gobble Grams FUNdraiser – Family Network is hosting a Thanksgiving Gobble Grams FUNdraiser – a fun way to share Thanksgiving joy!
HOW IT WORKS: Fill out as many personalized Gobble Grams as you’d like, there is no limit! Please return completed Gobble Grams with the funds by Monday, November 17th. Gobble Grams will be delivered in school by Wednesday, November 19th. Surprise a friend, classmate, teacher, or school staff member with a delicious treat. See attached document for details on how to order.

*Holiday Wreath Fundraiser: It’s time for our annual Holiday Wreath Fundraiser with Sherwood Forest Farms! The website for our fundraiser is https://sherwoodfundraiser.
This link can be shared with family, friends, neighbors, etc. and they too can order directly from the website. All prices include sales tax. Items will be shipped directly to an address provided by the purchaser. ORDER DEADLINE for direct delivery: Saturday, November 15th.
*The SchoolStore Program is 100% online so there is NO face-to-face selling, handling money, or delivering products. Your participation will take less than 12 minutes, and there are exciting prizes to make it fun for the students.

Family Network (FN) – Get Involved!
The ACA Family Network is made up of ACA adults who volunteer for fundraisers and social events for the enrichment of our children. The money we raise goes back to our school for study trips, family activities, assemblies, and classroom supplies. If you have a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/

REMINDERS
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. No delivery services are allowed on campus.
Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence. This helps the school, which helps your student!
Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only. Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin. Thank You.
