ACA Primary Newsletter 10/20/25

Last week in class we started Chinchilla and Toucan students on daily contracts. This is just a list of work that they need to complete for the day. This helps students work independently and motivates them to complete all of their work. As the year goes on this will turn into a weekly contract. Make sure to ask your student about their contract and all of the jobs they are completing on their own.

Tomorrow, Tuesday October 21st, the Primary and Elementary classrooms will be going to Joan’s Farm in Livermore. Please make sure that your child wears weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes as we are sure it will be muddy and or dusty.

Drivers please arrive at school by 8:15 so we can arrive at Joan’s by 9:45am. The car list will be sent out asap :)

Parents do not need to come back to school with their student. Please make sure you check out with a teacher.

Our fall fair will be Thursday October 30th from 5:30-7pm. Join us for food games and a haunted house created by the middle school students!

For halloween Students may dress up when they come to class. We ask that they do not bring any type of weapons and that they do not wear a mask to class. They will do a trick or treating activity with their school family and have a halloween parade around 11:30am. Parents are welcome to come to the parade. It will start on the blacktop and go up into the park.

All students will go home at 12pm- please make sure your child checks out with a teacher after the parade.
