WEEK OF OCTOBER 20, 2025
NUTCRACKER BALLET BEING THERE EXPERIENCE
Our next trip of the year is to the Nutcracker Ballet and the El Campanil Theater in Antioch. We will be going on Thursday, December 4. The cost is $13 per student and $13 per adult.
This is a reserved ticketed event. Only students and adults with pre-purchased tickets will be able to attend the show.
Permission slips and money are due by Friday, October 31. Late permission slips will not be accepted. Ticket sales are final after October 31.
Students who do not attend the show will stay at school. Students who attend the show will return to school by 11:30. Lunch will be served at school at our regular lunch and recess time.
This event is for ACA Primary and ACA Elementary students only. No siblings of any age are allowed to attend. No babies or toddlers are allowed. Parents are able to drive, drop off, and pick up their students attending the show, but parents can not bring in any siblings to the show.
Parents are able to purchase one ticket for themselves for now, if more tickets become available, we will let you know. We have reserved enough tickets for all our students and the usual amount of adults that typically attend this event.
PERSONAL SAFETY UPDATE
Students will begin belt testing in the next few weeks. Attached is the Personal Safety Creed for students to practice. Different groups will have different requirements/expectations for their individual belt test. If your student is not clear about what they need to be practicing for their belt test, please let us know and we can find out more information for your specific student.
SNACK CALENDAR
Attached to this email are the snack calendars for October. Please feel free to either bring in your assigned snack or make a $15 donation for the purchase of the snack and the teachers will do the shopping for you. Thanks for all your support.

BALLET CASCANUECES: EXPERIENCIA PRESENTE
Nuestro próximo viaje del año es al Ballet Cascanueces y al Teatro El Campanil en Antioch. Iremos el jueves 4 de diciembre. El costo es de $13 por estudiante y $13 por adulto.
Este es un evento con boleto reservado. Solo estudiantes y adultos con boletos precomprados podrán asistir al espectáculo.
Los permisos y el dinero deben entregarse antes del viernes 31 de octubre. No se aceptarán permisos fuera de plazo. La venta de boletos es definitiva después del 31 de octubre.
Los estudiantes que no asistan al espectáculo se quedarán en la escuela. Los estudiantes que asistan regresarán a la escuela a las 11:30. El almuerzo se servirá en la escuela a la hora habitual de almuerzo y recreo.
Este evento es solo para estudiantes de la Escuela Primaria ACA. No se permiten hermanos de ninguna edad. No se permiten bebés ni niños pequeños. Los padres pueden llevar, dejar y recoger a sus hijos al espectáculo, pero no pueden traer a sus hermanos.
Por ahora, los padres pueden comprar una entrada para ellos mismos. Si hay más entradas disponibles, se lo informaremos. Hemos reservado suficientes entradas para todos nuestros estudiantes y el número habitual de adultos que asisten a este evento.
ACTUALIZACIÓN SOBRE SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
Los estudiantes comenzarán las pruebas de cinturón en las próximas semanas. Se adjunta el Credo de Seguridad Personal para que los estudiantes practiquen. Cada grupo tendrá diferentes requisitos/expectativas para su prueba de cinturón. Si su estudiante no tiene claro qué debe practicar para su prueba de cinturón, por favor, avísenos para que podamos obtener más información.
CALENDARIO DE REFRIGERIOS
Adjunto a este correo electrónico se encuentran los calendarios de refrigerios de octubre. No dude en traer su refrigerio asignado o hacer una donación de $15 para la compra; los maestros se encargarán de la compra. Gracias por todo su apoyo.
