LETTER OF THE WEEK: Aa as in apple and alligator
THIS WEEK:
We will be centering all of our activities this week around the letter A. Students will have art jobs, lessons and cooking activities on Wednesday all themed around the sound of the week. Each week the letter will change- and we do not go in alphabetical order. So make sure to ask your child what sound they are working on each week :)
WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY SIGN UP LINK:
Below is a link for Wonderful Wednesday volunteers in the Primary classroom- stations run from 9:15-11:30 each week. We will send out the sign up link with every newsletter.
THURSDAY PURPLE FOLDERS
Every Thursday your child will bring home their Thursday Purple folder. This has all of the work that they have completed for the week. Please look through this folder with your child and have them pick one piece of work that is their favorite. Please send this one piece of work BACK to class. Teachers will save this work to add to their Primary Portfolio for the end of the year.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS
About once a month we will send home a scholastic book order. Parents can order books online. Each order will earn free books for our classroom! The flyer will be sent home in this week’s purple folder with more detailed directions
PICTURE DAY
Picture day is Tuesday September 16th. A picture day form will be sent home this Thursday in your child’s purple folder. The easiest way to purchase photos is through an online order.
