MAY SNACK CALENDAR
There is a new snack calendar available for the month of April.
MINIMUM DAY NEXT MONDAY
Next Monday, May 12, is a minimum day. All students come to school at 8:15 and are dismissed at 12:00. There is no after school program for the Cougar Cub Club this week.
YOUNG AUTHORS NIGHT
Young Author’s Night is this Wednesday, May 7, at 6:00. Students will be in groups and be given an opportunity to read their book aloud. Students do not HAVE to read their book aloud. Students can listen only or instead share a short summary of their book. Students can also have a parent read their book aloud for them.
Please have a chat with your student to clarify if they have completed their book to read aloud for Young Author’s Night. Some students are still working on books and do not have them ready to read. Students who don’t have their book finished by May 7, will be given extra time to finish.
POKEMON CARDS AT SCHOOL
The Pokemon Card Club is finished for the school year. The club held their final meeting of the school year last week. As a reminder, please keep all Pokemon cards at home.
BOOK FAIR
The Book Fair is open all this week. Students can purchase items during lunch, after school, or during Young Authrr’s Night.

CALENDARIO DE MERIENDAS DE MAYO
Hay un nuevo calendario de meriendas disponible para el mes de abril.
DÍA MÍNIMO EL PRÓXIMO LUNES
El próximo lunes, 12 de mayo, es día mínimo. Todos los estudiantes llegan a la escuela a las 8:15 y salen a las 12:00. No hay programa extraescolar para el Club de Cachorros Cougar esta semana.
NOCHE DE JÓVENES AUTORES
La Noche de Jóvenes Autores es este miércoles, 7 de mayo, a las 6:00. Los estudiantes se reunirán en grupos y tendrán la oportunidad de leer su libro en voz alta. No es obligatorio leer el libro en voz alta. Pueden escuchar solo o compartir un breve resumen. También pueden pedirle a uno de sus padres que lea el libro en voz alta.
Por favor, hable con su estudiante para aclarar si ya terminó su libro para leerlo en voz alta en la Noche de Jóvenes Autores. Algunos estudiantes aún están trabajando en sus libros y no los tienen listos para leer. Los estudiantes que no terminen su libro para el 7 de mayo tendrán tiempo adicional para terminarlo.
CARTAS DE POKEMON EN LA ESCUELA
El Club de Cartas de Pokémon ha terminado este año escolar. El club celebró su última reunión la semana pasada. Les recordamos que guarden todas las cartas de Pokémon en casa.
FERIA DEL LIBRO
La Feria del Libro estará abierta toda la semana. Los estudiantes pueden comprar artículos durante el almuerzo, después de clases o durante la Noche de los Jóvenes Autores.
