THIS WEEK:
We are back to our normal routine after a fun North America cultural week. Students are striving to complete as many jobs as they are old each day.
Students will also begin work in their reading groups or making words groups this week. They will meet with their group twice each week to practice. Make sure you are regularly reading with or to your child every day. It is a super important skill at this level.
Right now in class we are also learning about the parts of a book and the parts of a story. We are doing this to prepare for writing our own young authors stories in April. This will culminate with Young Author’s night in May where they will present their work. More info to follow as the event gets closer.
REPORT CARDS
Report cards were sent home last week via email. If you have any questions about your students’ report card please let us know.
