WEEK OF FEBRUARY 3, 2025
2ND TRIMESTER ASSESSMENTS
Some students will start taking their 2nd trimester assessments this week and continue through next week. Some students will start taking their 2nd trimester assessments next week. Our goal is for students to complete their assessments prior to the February break. Please make sure your student is coming to school on time and staying until dismissal time to allow for the maximum time to be available for completing their assessments.
MINIMUM DAYS-THURSDAY AND FRIDAY
Thursday, February 6th and Friday, February 7th are minimum days. All students will come to school at 8:15 and be released at 12:00 for carpool. There is no Cougar Cub Club on minimum days.
FEBRUARY SNACK CALENDAR
There is a new snack calendar available for the month of February. Students were given a copy to bring home. Copies are available in the Elementary classroom.
ICE SKATING REMINDERS
The ice skating trip is next Friday, February 14th. All drivers and students will arrive at 8:15 and leave for the ice rink at 8:30. Students will return to school by 12:30. Students can go home after the trip or stay for carpool/Cougar Cub Club.
VALENTINE ACTIVITIES
Elementary students will be passing out and receiving any Valentine treats next Thursday, February, 13th. Students should bring their backpacks or a bag to school to have a place to put their treats they receive. If bringing treats to pass out, please DO NOT put individual names of other students on the treats. There is not enough time for students to pass out items individually to specific students.

TACO NIGHT FUNDRAISER
The Family Network is hosting a Taco Night Fundraiser next Tuesday, February 11. Tickets are available for presale at $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $15.

EVALUACIONES DEL 2º TRIMESTRE
Algunos estudiantes comenzarán a tomar sus evaluaciones del segundo trimestre esta semana y continuarán hasta la próxima semana. Algunos estudiantes comenzarán a tomar las evaluaciones del segundo trimestre la próxima semana. Nuestro objetivo es que los estudiantes completen sus evaluaciones antes de las vacaciones de febrero. Asegúrese de que su estudiante llegue a la escuela a tiempo y se quede hasta la hora de salida para permitir que tenga el máximo tiempo disponible para completar sus evaluaciones.
DÍAS MÍNIMOS-JUEVES Y VIERNES
El jueves 6 de febrero y el viernes 7 de febrero son días mínimos. Todos los estudiantes vendrán a la escuela a las 8:15 y saldrán a las 12:00 para compartir el viaje. No hay Cougar Cub Club en los días mínimos.
CALENDARIO DE SNACKS DE FEBRERO
Hay un nuevo calendario de meriendas disponible para el mes de febrero. Los estudiantes recibieron una copia para que la llevaran a casa. Las copias están disponibles en el salón de clases de primaria.
RECORDATORIOS DE PATINAJE SOBRE HIELO
El viaje de patinaje sobre hielo es el próximo viernes 14 de febrero. Todos los conductores y estudiantes llegarán a las 8:15 y saldrán hacia la pista de hielo a las 8:30. Los estudiantes regresarán a la escuela a las 12:30. Los estudiantes pueden regresar a casa después del viaje o quedarse para compartir el viaje/Cougar Cub Club.
ACTIVIDADES DE SAN VALENTÍN
Los estudiantes de primaria se desmayarán y recibirán obsequios de San Valentín el próximo jueves 13 de febrero. Los estudiantes deben traer sus mochilas o una bolsa a la escuela para tener un lugar donde poner las golosinas que reciben. Si trae golosinas para repartir, NO ponga nombres individuales de otros estudiantes en las golosinas. No hay tiempo suficiente para que los estudiantes distribuyan artículos individualmente a estudiantes específicos.

RECAUDACIÓN DE FONDOS EN LA NOCHE DE TACOS
Family Network organizará una noche de tacos para recaudar fondos el próximo martes 11 de febrero. Los boletos están disponibles para la preventa a $10. Los boletos se pueden comprar en puerta por $15.
