San Jose Tech Museum trip is this Thursday, January 30th.
  • This trip will be from 7am ~ 4:45pm (depending on traffic). Students and chaperones need to be here at 7amIf you have younger siblings, do NOT leave them too.  There will NOT be supervision for younger students.
  • Students/chaperones will need a sack lunch (if you requested a school lunch, it will be provided)
  • Students cannot bring backpacks in the museum, so they do not need to bring a backpack to school
  • Make sure to be at the school by 4:45pm to pick up your student.  We have the students contact their rides about 20 minutes from the campus.  We will all be tired, and will want to go home so don’t make us wait!
  • And a BIG thank you to all our drivers
  • Students not attending the trip still come to school, and work on their assignments.
 
2. Next Los Angeles Payment is due this Friday, January 31st.  Thank you to those who have paid in full.  If you need to know how much you need to pay for the next payment, please email us. See attachment for details.
3. EE small group trips to Family Harvest Farm: Our next trip to the farm is this Friday, February 14th.  If your student is going that day, please consider driving! The trip runs from 9:40~12pm.  Drivers need to have a copy of their 100,000/300,000 liability car insurance on file in the office to drive.  Students not attending the farm will do EE assignments at school.

Head’s Up: Internships/Job Shadows will take place for 3 days on March 17-19th.  Students will not come to school, but go to their “jobs”.  Students will have a packet that will need to be filled out by their “employers” and themselves to receive a grade for this project. 8th grade students should seek out a different place of business, doing a different job then they did last year. Detailed information will go home on February 3rd.
This Week’s Assignments/Homework: not an exhaustive listmore assignments may be added by teachers through-out the week. Class assignments not finished during class become homework.
