ACA Primary Newsletter 1/6/25

Hello! We hope everyone had a restful and fun break and some quality time with their students at home.

We are going to get right back into the swing of things and begin the year with a ‘normal’ week. Students will work on their contracts- completing hopefully as many jobs as they are old every day. As the month progresses we will be adding more work to their daily contracts and they will complete specific jobs during the week as opposed to any number or word job of their choice like they have previously.

When their new contracts come home please have your student tell you about it so you can understand what they are working on every day.

TK students will still work on completing 4 or 5 jobs a day and gradually working into a simple ‘contract’ or list of work by the end of the trimester.

January is a fairly quiet month- so we will have lots of time to settle back into our classroom routines.

We will have an ice skating trip on Friday February 14th. Please keep an eye open for a permission slip in your child’s purple folders soon.
