As we dive into the next few weeks, our school is buzzing with excitement! We have so many fun and enriching activities planned for every level. Intermediate students will soon be hitting the ice for some exciting ice skating adventures, Middle students will be stepping back in time for a charming Victorian Day, and our Elementary students are gearing up to shine in their musical performances!
These special events not only create lasting memories but also reinforce the sense of community and joy in learning that we strive to foster every day. To make the most of these opportunities, regular attendance is key—each day brings unique experiences your child won’t want to miss.
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring our students are here, ready to learn, laugh, and grow together. We can’t wait to share these incredible moments with them!

Flurry of FUN Family Night! This annual free event will be held in our multi-use room on Thursday, December 12th from 6-7:30. This is a DO NOT MISS EVENT! See flyer for details! To ensure enough supplies are purchased please RSVP by 12.09.24 to acaoffice@
ACA & ACA II Middle School Winter Dance: on December 13th from 4:30-6:30pm, the Yearbook Elective will be holding a winter dance for 6-8th grade students here on campus. This dance is a fundraiser for the elective. Permission form & $ are required for entry.

UPCOMING & ONGOING SCHOOL EVENTS 
Charter Council: The Charter Council is our governing board. The board meets usually on the second Thursday of the month @ 4PM. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date/time, or call the office at 925-755-7311 to confirm. These meetings are open to the public – all are welcomed!
FAMILY NETWORK (FN) HAPPENINGS 
The ACA Family Network is made up of ACA adults who volunteer for fundraisers and social events for the enrichment of our children. The money we raise goes back to our school for study trips, family activities, assemblies, and classroom supplies. If you have a child/grandchild/niece/nephew/
Family Network Meetings are the second Friday of each month at 3pm. The board welcomes and encourages all ACA families to attend the meetings. Check with the calendar. below to find out the next meeting.
Family Network Wish List: We have created a Family Network wish list on Amazon. If you’d like to donate any of these “Wish List” items we would greatly appreciate it. These items are needed throughout the school year. Pick the items and pay for them and Amazon will ship directly to the school.

Popcorn Fridays Volunteers Always Needed! 
We need volunteers to help out with popcorn sales each Friday 2:30pm – 3:30pm
Help set up, make popcorn, sell candy/popcorn and clean-up. Sign up on https://www.trackitforward.
REMINDERS 
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. Reminder – no outside food delivery services are allowed on campus.
Absences, Tardies, Leaving Early: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Please make sure to check into the office if your student arrives late. If your student needs to depart early, the person picking up the child must call the office at (925) 755-7311 so the office can retrieve the student prior to walking into the office to sign out their student. Please remember to request an “Independent Study” or “IS” every time you email/call to report an absence. This helps the school, which helps your student!
REMIND: This APP is another way for the school to quickly inform you on what is happening on campus. Never miss another minimum day schedule, or a whole school event (example from last year: a power outage that required early dismissal!). You can receive messages through email or through texting (recommended) – you decide! Ask your student’s teacher for their classcode!
Clothes Donation Bin: is a great way to have our unclaimed lost and found items find a new home, and it is actually a form of fund raising for the school. When people donate clothes, the owners of the bin, Tree Machine, will give money to the school. The bin is for clothes only. Please make sure to bag the clothes before you put them in the bin. Thank You.

A medida que nos adentramos en las próximas semanas, ¡nuestra escuela está llena de emoción! Tenemos muchas actividades divertidas y enriquecedoras planificadas para todos los niveles. Los estudiantes de nivel intermedio pronto saldrán al hielo para disfrutar de emocionantes aventuras de patinaje sobre hielo, los estudiantes de nivel medio viajarán al pasado para disfrutar de un encantador día victoriano y nuestros estudiantes de nivel primario se están preparando para brillar en sus presentaciones musicales.
Estos eventos especiales no solo crean recuerdos duraderos, sino que también refuerzan el sentido de comunidad y alegría por el aprendizaje que nos esforzamos por fomentar todos los días. Para aprovechar al máximo estas oportunidades, la asistencia regular es clave: cada día trae experiencias únicas que su hijo no querrá perderse.

EVENTOS DE LA RED FAMILIAR (FN)
La Red Familiar de ACA está formada por adultos de ACA que se ofrecen como voluntarios para recaudaciones de fondos y eventos sociales para el enriquecimiento de nuestros niños. El dinero que recaudamos se destina a nuestra escuela para viajes de estudio, actividades familiares, asambleas y útiles escolares. Si tiene un hijo/nieto/sobrina/sobrino/
Las reuniones de la Red Familiar son el segundo viernes de cada mes a las 3:00 p. m. La junta da la bienvenida y alienta a todas las familias de ACA a asistir a las reuniones. Consulte el calendario a continuación para conocer la próxima reunión.
