ACA Primary Newsletter 11/18/24

This week is packed full of fun! During cultural week we are learning all about the continent of Oceania/ Australia! Students will be put into groups and rotate through three different stations Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Sign up link for Cultural day helpers was sent out last week.

Wednesday we will have a “Friendsgiving” celebration where students will focus on manners, passing and socializing while sharing a meal vs their usual cooking. If they would like to dress ‘fancy’ for this they can- but they do not have to.

Students will take home lots of projects each day- so please make sure they are bringing a backpack to school every day.

All this week ALL students will attend from 8:15-12. There will also be NO cougar cub club all week.

Al next week will be our Holiday break. No school 11/25- 11/29. School resumes on Monday 12/2.

Thursday December 12th will be our Family Flurry of Fun night from 5:30-7pm. This is a free event for families to come enjoy hot cocoa, s’mores, cookie decorating and crafts. A separate email will be going out later this week with more information. But please save the date for some fun!

This week students will begin listening to the music for their class musical. We will begin play practice the Monday we come back from break. Students will get assigned a role and wear a simple costume. More information will follow in the next newsletter.

But the performance will be on Friday December 20th- which is a minimum day. Students are welcome to go home after their performance on that day.
