WEEK OF NOVEMBER 12, 2024
REMINDER-NO SCHOOL MONDAY-NOVEMBER 11
ACA will be closed on Monday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
CULTURAL DAYS-NOVEMBER 18, 19, 21, 22
Next week we will be introducing the region of Oceania to the Primary and Elementary students through various activities. We call this our Cultural Days and students will rotate through 3 activities per day from 9am-11am. On Monday, Thursday, and Friday one of the rotations will include an art activity. On Tuesday one of the rotations will be a cooking activity.
Any parents that want to volunteer to assist with the art activity and/or the cooking activity, are welcome to sign up for a volunteer time. There are limited spots available, so please only sign up for one time slot, so that multiple families can have an opportunity to volunteer.

CLASSROOM MUSICALS
Next week we will start practicing for our annual Class Musical Performance. This year the TK, K, and 1st Grade students will be performing The Holiday Show. The 2nd and 3rd grade students will be performing Biomes:Animals and Plants in Their Habitats.
We will be practicing next week from 11:00-11:40. Students who have parts to memorize will be given their parts and a copy of the script so that they can begin to practice their parts over the November break.
REMINDER-MINIMUM DAYS NEXT WEEK-NO AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS
Next week, November 18-22 are minimum days. All students will be dismissed from school at 12:00. There is no Cougar Cub Club on minimum days. Students can still order breakfast and lunch, but there are no afterschool care programs available.
NOVEMBER CONFERENCE SIGN UPS
November conferences will be held during the week of November 18-22. The sign up link for the conferences was emailed to you last week. If you did not receive that email or are having difficulty accessing the link, please let us know.
SNACK CALENDARS FOR NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER
Attached to this email are the classroom snack calendars for November and December. Students brought home a copy of these papers last week.
SCHOOL MEAL ORDER REMINDERS
School Lunch Order Form – https://forms.gle/
You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student.
Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from.
Reminder – no outside food delivery services are allowed on campus.

RECORDATORIO-NO HAY CLASES LUNES-11 DE NOVIEMBRE
ACA estará cerrada el lunes 11 de noviembre en conmemoración del Día de los Veteranos.
JORNADAS CULTURALES-18, 19, 21, 22 DE NOVIEMBRE
La próxima semana estaremos presentando la región de Oceanía a los alumnos de Primaria y Primaria a través de diversas actividades. A esto lo llamamos nuestros Días Culturales y los estudiantes rotarán en 3 actividades por día de 9 am a 11 am. Los lunes, jueves y viernes una de las rotaciones incluirá una actividad artística. El martes una de las rotaciones será una actividad de cocina.
Cualquier padre que quiera ofrecerse como voluntario para ayudar con la actividad artística y/o la actividad de cocina, puede inscribirse para un tiempo de voluntariado. Hay lugares limitados disponibles, así que regístrese solo para un horario, para que varias familias puedan tener la oportunidad de ser voluntarias.

MUSICALES EN EL AULA
La próxima semana comenzaremos a practicar para nuestra presentación musical de clase anual. Este año los estudiantes de TK, K y 1er grado presentarán The Holiday Show. Los alumnos de 2do y 3er grado estarán presentando Biomas:Animales y Plantas en Sus Hábitats.
Estaremos practicando la próxima semana de 11:00 a 11:40. Los estudiantes que tengan partes que memorizar recibirán sus partes y una copia del guión para que puedan comenzar a practicar sus partes durante las vacaciones de noviembre.
RECORDATORIO-DÍAS MÍNIMOS LA PRÓXIMA SEMANA-NO HAY PROGRAMAS DESPUÉS DE LA ESCUELA
La próxima semana, del 18 al 22 de noviembre, son días mínimos. Todos los estudiantes saldrán de la escuela a las 12:00. No hay Cougar Cub Club en los días mínimos. Los estudiantes aún pueden pedir desayuno y almuerzo, pero no hay programas de cuidado después de clases disponibles.
INSCRIPCIONES A LA CONFERENCIA DE NOVIEMBRE
Las conferencias de noviembre se llevarán a cabo durante la semana del 18 al 22 de noviembre. El enlace de inscripción para las conferencias le fue enviado por correo electrónico la semana pasada. Si no recibió ese correo electrónico o tiene dificultades para acceder al enlace, háganoslo saber.
CALENDARIOS DE SNACKS PARA NOVIEMBRE Y DICIEMBRE
Adjunto a este correo electrónico están los calendarios de refrigerios en el salón de clases para noviembre y diciembre. Los estudiantes trajeron a casa una copia de estos documentos la semana pasada.

DEBE ordenar las comidas con anticipación para poder recibirlas o, de lo contrario, es posible que no tengamos una comida disponible para su estudiante.
El desayuno y la cena serán los mismos para todos los estudiantes, mientras que el almuerzo tendrá un menú del que podrá elegir un plato principal.
Recordatorio: no se permiten servicios externos de entrega de alimentos en el campus.
