WEEK OF OCTOBER 28, 2024
TUESDAY BACKPACK CHECK
Usually the students bring home items in their backpacks on Fridays. This week there is no school on Friday, Thursday is Halloween and a minimum day, so students will be bringing home items on Tuesday this week.
CHANGE FOR PUMPKIN PATCH and SNACK
Some students will be bringing home change in their backpacks on Tuesday. The change will be in a sealed white envelope.
HALLOWEEN DAY AT ACA
Students are welcome to wear costumes to school on Thursday, October 31. Students should still be able to do work and be comfortable all day in the costume. No masks or weapons should be brought to school.
At 11:00 students will gather with their school families to participate in the ‘trick or treat’ from classroom to classroom. Once that is finished the students will gather on the blacktop for a parade.
Students who do not want to participate will be able to go to a classroom to play board games or do other activities. Students can also leave at 11:00 if their parent/guardian checks them out.
HALLOWEEN MINIMUM DAY
Thursday, October 31, is a minimum day. All students will be at school at 8:15 and picked up at 12:00. There are no afterschool programs on minimum days.
TEACHER WORK DAY-NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS
Friday, November 1, is a teacher work day. No students will be at school.

REVISIÓN DE MOCHILA DEL MARTES
Generalmente los estudiantes traen artículos a casa en sus mochilas los viernes. Esta semana no hay clases los viernes, el jueves es Halloween y es un día mínimo, por lo que los estudiantes traerán artículos a casa el martes de esta semana.
CAMBIO POR PARCHE DE CALABAZA y MERIENDA
Algunos estudiantes traerán cambio a casa en sus mochilas el martes. El cambio estará en un sobre blanco cerrado.
DÍA DE HALLOWEEN EN ACA
Los estudiantes pueden usar disfraces en la escuela el jueves 31 de octubre. Los estudiantes aún deberían poder trabajar y estar cómodos todo el día con el disfraz. No se deben traer máscaras ni armas a la escuela.
A las 11:00 horas los alumnos se reunirán con las familias de su colegio para participar en el ‘truco o trato’ de aula en aula. Una vez terminado, los estudiantes se reunirán en el asfalto para un desfile.
Los alumnos que no quieran participar podrán acudir a un aula para jugar juegos de mesa o realizar otras actividades. Los estudiantes también pueden salir a las 11:00 si sus padres/tutores los retiran.
DÍA MÍNIMO DE HALLOWEEN
El jueves 31 de octubre es un día mínimo. Todos los estudiantes estarán en la escuela a las 8:15 y serán recogidos a las 12:00. No hay programas extraescolares en días mínimos.
DÍA DE TRABAJO DOCENTE-NO HAY CLASES PARA ESTUDIANTES
El viernes 1 de noviembre es día de trabajo docente. No habrá estudiantes en la escuela.
