ACA Primary News 10/21/24

This week we are learning about the human body and mostly Skeletons. We will have science and art jobs with skeletons and make a life size skeleton too!

Students in the morning classes are beginning work on daily contracts- which is a list of work for them to complete each day. This helps them stay organized and take control of what they want to accomplish for the day. Every stamp on their contract represents a job they have completed. The goal right now is to complete 5 things each day.

Makeup picture day is Tuesday November 5th. If your student was absent or you would like them to retake their picture they can do so on this day.

Halloween is a minimum day all attend 8:15-12pm. With Halloween next week we want to invite students to dress up for the day if they would like to. We do ask that students do not wear a costume that covers their face- or a mask- and any additional pieces of the costume such as weapons or wands stay home for the day.

We normally do a trick or treating activity and a costume parade at the end of the school day. Parents are welcome to come at 11:40 to watch our parade.

Our cultural day celebrations where we study a specific continent will be during conference week- 11/18-11/22. Keep a lookout for times to sign up and volunteer in class :)

Sign ups for conferences will go out later this week- look out for an email with a link to sign up for an end of trimester conference with your students’ teacher.
