Head’s Up:
- Last Week of the Archaeology Unit. Tomorrow is the due date for the Archaeology projects. Presentations will take place tomorrow & Thursday; unit Final on Friday. Last day to turn in missing assignments for this unit, or resubmit for a better grade, is Thursday.
- Form & $ Due Thursday…On Thursday, January 30, 2025 we will be going to the San Jose Tech Museum for our Human Centered Design & Entrepreneur Units! This trip will help solidify what students will be learning (Engineering, Inventions, Change, Math, etc) in their classes during that time.Place: San Jose Tech MuseumDate: Thursday, January 30thTime: 7:00am ~ 5:00pmCost: $28 (both form & payment are due on October 3rd) This is non-refundable.Need: We need drivers for this trip. Because of distance & cost, drivers must be able to take a minimum of 4 students in their vehicle. Drivers must have Proof of Insurance (Declarations Page) showing $100,000/$300,000 liability coverage (see attached example). A Megan’s Law check will be conducted on chaperones.Attached is the permission form (we have paper copies available in class). Please note, no late forms/payments will be accepted after October 3rd. This is a firm date, for we must pay the museum by their due date.

- Next week is October Break. School starts back up on October 14th.
- Next Unit is Human & Civil Rights (Social Change).

- Humanities: Unit Final on Friday
- Membean: Complete 3 training sessions of 15 minutes; due Friday
- Duolingo (language): weekly XP assigned; due Fridays
- Math: CPM, Khan, Math Review, other; assorted due dates (see on Google Classroom), assessment usually on Fridays
- Science (atoms, cells, molecules): Unit Final on Science day
- Archaeology Museum Project: Completed projects due tomorrow, Museum on Thursday
