This week we are going to learn all about rainbows and colors. We will do some fun science experiments with color and lots of beautiful art to go with it!
We are still working hard on following directions and completing our work every day.
We now have snack set up as a job in the classroom. This means students can go and get snack whenever they have free choice in class. We are giving lots of reminders about choosing snack if they want to.
G & S FARMS TRIP
This year we will be going on a trip to G&S farms in brentwood. We will be learning all about pumpkin life cycles, farming and getting a pumpkin to take home with us!
The cost will be $14 dollars and all parents are welcome to come and drive their child on the trip. Permission slips will be going home later this week with all of the details :)
CARPOOL REMINDERS
Reminders that if students cannot get in and out or buckle themselves in their seats please park and walk up to the front to get your child. This is so we can keep the carpool line moving.
PURPLE FOLDERS
Please make sure you are going through your child’s purple folder every Thursday and choosing something to bring back to class. This is not only a chance for them to show off their work but for them to add something to their portfolio they will take home at the end of the year.
FAMILY DANCE
The family dance will be Thursday September 26th at 6pm. Tickets will be available to purchase before the event and also at the door. Details in the flyer attached below
