Back To School Night 2024-2025
MRS. KLOTZ MATERNITY LEAVE
Mrs. Klotz has begun her maternity leave. She will be out of the classroom until March 2025. Our new long-term substitute will be Mrs. Malzahn. Mrs. Malzahn was able to be in the classroom last week to shadow Mrs. Klotz and get acquainted with all the students. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Malzahn to our ACA family!

You MUST order meals in advance in order to receive them or else we may not have a meal available for your student. Breakfast and Supper will be the same for all students, while lunch has a menu that you can choose one entree from. Reminder – no outside food delivery services are allowed on campus.
STAR TESTING
Students have completed the beginning of the year STAR testing in Math and Reading. All parents will receive copies of these scores next month when report cards are sent home. Students will be participating in the test again in December and May. These tests are standardized and done on a school chromebook in a teacher monitored setting. These tests help the teachers to identify student levels in math and reading. These tests also help track student growth in math and reading throughout the school year.
BACK TO SCHOOL PACKETS
All students have a Back to School Packet that was passed out at Back to School Night. If you were unable to attend Back to School Night, the packet was sent home with your student. Please take time to fill out the forms and return them to school.

SEÑORA. LICENCIA POR MATERNIDAD KLOTZ
La señora Klotz ha comenzado su baja por maternidad. Estará fuera del aula hasta marzo de 2025. Nuestra nueva suplente a largo plazo será la Sra. Malzahn. La Sra. Malzahn pudo estar en el salón de clases la semana pasada para seguir a la Sra. Klotz y conocer a todos los estudiantes. ¡Estamos emocionados de darle la bienvenida a la Sra. Malzahn a nuestra familia ACA!
PEDIDOS DEL CLUB DE LECTURA SCHOLASTIC
¡Este año, nuestra clase está leyendo con Scholastic Book Clubs! Tendrá acceso a libros asequibles y seleccionados por expertos que ayudarán a mejorar las habilidades de lectura de su hijo, construir la biblioteca de su hogar y tal vez incluso crear momentos de tiempo de calidad que puedan compartir juntos.

FORMULARIO DE PEDIDO DE ALMUERZO ESCOLAR – https://forms.gle/
DEBE ordenar las comidas con anticipación para poder recibirlas o, de lo contrario, es posible que no tengamos una comida disponible para su estudiante. El desayuno y la cena serán los mismos para todos los estudiantes, mientras que el almuerzo tendrá un menú del que podrá elegir un plato principal. Recordatorio: no se permiten servicios externos de entrega de alimentos en el campus.
PRUEBA DE ESTRELLA
Los estudiantes han completado las pruebas STAR de principios de año en Matemáticas y Lectura. Todos los padres recibirán copias de estos puntajes el próximo mes cuando se envíen las boletas de calificaciones a casa. Los estudiantes participarán nuevamente en la prueba en diciembre y mayo. Estas pruebas están estandarizadas y se realizan en un Chromebook escolar en un entorno supervisado por un maestro. Estas pruebas ayudan a los maestros a identificar los niveles de los estudiantes en matemáticas y lectura. Estas pruebas también ayudan a seguir el crecimiento de los estudiantes en matemáticas y lectura durante todo el año escolar.
PAQUETES DE REGRESO A LA ESCUELA
Todos los estudiantes tienen un paquete de regreso a clases que se repartió durante la noche de regreso a clases. Si no pudo asistir a la Noche de Regreso a Clases, el paquete se envió a casa con su estudiante. Tómese el tiempo para completar los formularios y devolverlos a la escuela.
