ACA Primary Newsletter 8/28/24

Hello Families!

We are excited to get our first full week of school under way. Beginning next week we will have a sound of the week- every week- and all of the activities and projects we complete will revolve around that sound. This week will be more about learning classroom procedures and establishing routines.

We want to remind families that children should be eating breakfast or lunch before they come to class. We will be providing a snack- but it is just that- a small snack- and in no way will replace a meal they would get at home.

Also a reminder to have your child bring their water bottle to class and bring a backpack each day.

this year we will be studying the continents of Australia and North America. Students have chosen a group name based off of different Australian animals the groups are:

The Koalas

The Sugar gliders

The Sting Rays

* ask your student to tell you what group they are in :)

Our back to school night will be tomorrow- 8/27 from 6-7pm in room 5  If you are new to our school or have never had a child in Primary this meeting will have lots of useful information.
