Fair Time Is Here
Fair time is here again! Since school will be in session during the Fair, some changes to our daily routine will be required. The following information is intended to provide some organization to these changes:
Pickup and Drop-off May 16th-17th
Students will be escorted to the dirt parking lot for pick-up
NOTE: Please enter the parking lot from the ‘L’ Street entrance on Thursday and Friday for pick-up and park in the designated parking area. Students will be escorted to the parking area for pickup. Please be on time.
There will be staff members and volunteers to escort students to and from the school buildings. It is very important to be on time during fair week, so please drop-off students before 8:15 a.m. and pick up at the scheduled dismissal time. Also, please note that the school will not release students to the Fair at the end of the school day. No exceptions. Parents must pick up students at dismissal time or arrange for another adult/guardian to sign-out their student.
We need parents to volunteer during the week as extra security for our school area. Parents volunteering for security may want to bring a lawn chair, shade umbrella, a book to read, water, etc. for your shift.

Parking is not available during fair week except for staff and parents that are volunteering for security. Please do not plan to park unless you are volunteering at the school during fair week. If you do need to park, a parking fee may be charged. Please keep all parking lot entrances clear, including the main fair office parking lot. Also, please plan meetings with teachers the week prior to or after the fair. This will reduce the amount of traffic and will keep our parking needs to a minimum.
Lastly, please drive carefully, slow down, and be cautious, courteous, and flexible. Fair week will be a very fun week for everybody as long as we follow these simple safety rules.
Reminders
Please make sure your child comes with a filled water bottle everyday along with a healthy snack.
If you have a specific question about your student for your student’s homebase teacher, please contact them directly. The level email is better used to report absences or team level concerns.
We are Nut Free classrooms, please do not send your student with any products that contain peanut butter, peanuts, tree nuts or Nutella. If your student comes to school with a peanut product, we will ask them to leave the food product in their backpack and they may enjoy it at home.
To report an absence or a tardy, it needs to be informed by calling or sending an email to the office and elementary classroom by 8:30 am.
Breakfast/Hot Lunch
Breakfast and hot lunch is free for all students. Students order breakfast and lunch daily with their home-base teacher. Breakfast must be ordered the day before, and lunch orders go in at 8:30am. It is very important that if your student is going to be late, to call the office and make sure the orders are in.

¡Ha llegado la hora de la feria otra vez! Dado que la escuela estará en sesión durante la Feria, se requerirán algunos cambios en nuestra rutina diaria. La siguiente información tiene como objetivo proporcionar cierta organización a estos cambios:
Recogida y devolución del 16 al 17 de mayo
Los estudiantes serán acompañados al estacionamiento de tierra para ser recogidos.
NOTA: Ingrese al estacionamiento por la entrada de la calle ‘L’ los jueves y viernes para que lo recojan y estacione en el área de estacionamiento designada. Los estudiantes serán acompañados al área de estacionamiento para ser recogidos. Por favor, se puntual.
Habrá miembros del personal y voluntarios para acompañar a los estudiantes hacia y desde los edificios escolares. Es muy importante llegar a tiempo durante la semana de feria, así que deje a los estudiantes antes de las 8:15 a. m. y recójalos a la hora de salida programada. Además, tenga en cuenta que la escuela no permitirá que los estudiantes vayan a la feria al final del día escolar. Sin excepciones. Los padres deben recoger a los estudiantes a la hora de salida o hacer arreglos para que otro adulto/tutor registre la salida de su estudiante.

Recordatorios

El desayuno y el almuerzo caliente son gratuitos para todos los estudiantes. Los estudiantes piden el desayuno y el almuerzo diariamente con su maestro local. El desayuno se debe pedir el día anterior y los pedidos de almuerzo se reciben a las 8:30 a. m.Es muy importante que si su estudiante va a llegar tarde, llame a la oficina y se asegure de que los pedidos estén listos.
