Silent Auction – This Friday, May 3rd 5-8 PM at La Plazuela restaurant in Antioch.  This is a casual and family friendly event. Bring the kids, order some dinner and score some great deals at our Silent Auction.

Memory Book! – We are getting down to the wire on making our Memory Book (yearbook). Upper grade students have been helping create the book in an elective all year long. But they need additional help with photos. If you have any photos from this year, please submit them asap!

We have tried to keep the price low for our families but with increased printing costs in the last few years, we had to do a small increase in the purchase price. Part of how we keep the price low is from having sponsors for the Memory Book. If you would like to donate to the fund or know of a business that would like to sponsor our Memory Book, please ask them to fill out the form and provide a copy of the ad they want to place to either the office or by email by May 3rd.

Thank you to all who came to our Young Author’s Night open house.  The students worked really hard on their books and were excited to share them. Last week we introduced letter “Ee” and sight words “are,” “said,” and “happy.” Students practiced reading and spelling words with -en and -et. We introduced these jobs: butterly life cycle puzzle, Very Hungry Caterpillar story sequencing, and our Money jobs. On Friday students painted an E with shaving cream, made an elephant craft, drew an elephant and had a spoon and egg race.
