Walk-a-Thon – Thank you to all of the parents that came to cheer the kids on at the Walk-a-Thon! If you volunteered and helped out, be sure to log your volunteer hours on Gradelink. Walk-a-Thon packets will be returned tomorrow with the oldest sibling at school. You can continue to collect donations until April 26th when all donations are due back.
Field Trip – Thank you to all of the parents that drove and chaperoned for our field trip to Big Break. The students had a lot of fun learning about the delta wetland animals and their adaptations.

| Week in Review We enjoyed our first week in our new classroom, but had to learn and practice a lot of new procedures. New Montessori jobs introduced: numbers on a clock, clock 3-part cards, and plant vs. animal sort. We practiced reading and spelling three letter words with -ip, -it and -ig. |
