February 8th: Lunar New Year Parade at 2:40

Lunar New Year
This year we will be celebrating the Lunar New Year. We will have a parade on Thursday, February 8th at 2:40. We are encouraging students to wear either red or yellow. Please see attached flier for the parade route.
Valentine’s Day
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday February 14th! Scholars are invited to bring Valentines for their classmates. If they do, they MUST have one for every scholar that is in their homebase. Please see the attached roster for the number of students and names. We will be decorating bags in class for the exchange!
Birthday Celebration Donations Needed
The Birthday Team that provides cupcakes and goodie bags for Primary and Elementary is asking for donations to fill the goodie bags for the monthly birthday celebrations. Any leftover party bags, toys, and other such fillers are welcome and appreciated. Please drop off any donations to the office and ask them to notify the FNB and we’ll make sure they get where they need to be.
Conferences
Conference week is quickly approaching on March 11th-15th. Please be on the lookout for Signup Genius links next week.

Reminders
The Cold Weather is Here! The weather has cooled down and it is important that students bring a jacket with them to school every day. We will be going outside even in cold weather as long as it is not raining.
Please make sure your child comes with a filled water bottle everyday along with a healthy snack.
If you have a specific question about your student for your student’s homebase teacher, please contact them directly. The level email is better used to report absences or team level concerns.
We are Nut Free classrooms, please do not send your student with any products that contain peanut butter, peanuts, tree nuts or Nutella. If your student comes to school with a peanut product, we will ask them to leave the food product in their backpack and they may enjoy it at home.
To report an absence or a tardy, it needs to be informed by calling or sending an email to the office and elementary classroom by 8:30 am.
Breakfast/Hot Lunch
Breakfast and hot lunch is free for all students. Students order breakfast and lunch daily with their home-base teacher. Breakfast must be ordered the day before, and lunch orders go in at 8:30am. It is very important that if your student is going to be late, to call the office and make sure the orders are in.

Año Nuevo Lunar
Este año celebraremos el Año Nuevo Lunar. Tendremos un desfile el jueves 8 de febrero a las 2:40. estamos alentandoestudiantes vestirse de rojo o de amarillo. Consulte el folleto adjunto para conocer la ruta del desfile.
Día de San Valentín
¡Celebraremos el Día de San Valentín el miércoles 14 de febrero! Se invita a los estudiantes a traer tarjetas de San Valentín para sus compañeros de clase. Si lo hacen, DEBEN tener uno para cada estudiante que se encuentre en su base. Consulte la lista adjunta para conocer el número de estudiantes y los nombres. ¡Estaremos decorando bolsas en clase para el intercambio!
Se necesitan donaciones para la celebración de cumpleaños
El equipo de cumpleaños que proporciona pastelitos y bolsas de regalos para Primaria y Primaria solicita donaciones para llenar las bolsas de regalos para las celebraciones de cumpleaños mensuales. Los restos de bolsas de fiesta, juguetes y otros rellenos similares son bienvenidos y apreciados. Deje cualquier donación en la oficina y pídales que notifiquen a FNB y nos aseguraremos de que lleguen a donde deben estar.

Recordatorios
¡El clima frío ya está aquí! El clima se ha enfriado y es importante que los estudiantes traigan una chaqueta a la escuela todos los días. Saldremos incluso cuando haga frío, siempre y cuando no llueva.
Asegúrese de que su hijo venga con una botella de agua llena todos los días junto con un refrigerio saludable.
Si tiene una pregunta específica sobre su estudiante para el maestro local de su estudiante, comuníquese con ellos directamente. El correo electrónico de nivel se utiliza mejor para informar ausencias o inquietudes a nivel de equipo.
SomosAulas libres de nueces, no envíe a su estudiante ningún producto que contenga mantequilla de maní, maní, nueces o Nutella. Si su estudiante viene a la escuela con un producto de maní, le pediremos que lo deje en su mochila y podrá disfrutarlo en casa.

Desayuno/Almuerzo Caliente
El desayuno y el almuerzo caliente son gratuitos para todos los estudiantes. Los estudiantes piden el desayuno y el almuerzo diariamente con su maestro local. El desayuno se debe pedir el día anterior y los pedidos de almuerzo se reciben a las 8:30 a. m.Es muy importante que si su estudiante va a llegar tarde, llame a la oficina y se asegure de que los pedidos estén listos.
