JANUARY
Welcome back to school!
This month we are going to get right back into the swing of things! Students will be completing a daily ‘contract’ or list of work they must complete before they are on free choice. Older students will be working on making words lessons and small reading groups- while younger students will be focusing on completing two word jobs and two number jobs every day.
In January we will also be learning about arctic animals, their habitats and lunar new year celebrations.
As always we are working on being independent- navigating the classroom on their own, making snack independently and completing their daily work without lots of reminders. You can help with this at home by giving your student daily responsibilities such as making the bed, feeding family pets etc.
Happy New Year!
