Field Trip – Permission slips are due Wednesday, October 11th, no exceptions! If you want to chaperone, you must indicate so on the form and include payment for chaperones as well. If you ask to attend after October 11th or show up on the day of the field trip, we will not be able to allow you to attend.
Snacks and Lunch – Students are not allowed to have candy at school for snack or lunch. Please send a healthy snack/lunch with your child. AM Students may also not bring juice for snack, they each have a water bottle that they can drink from during snack time.
Clothing Swap – Do you have clothes at home that your child has outgrown? You can bag it up and bring it to school for our Fall Clothing Swap. Anyone can come “shop” on Friday the 13th from 1-3pm at the picnic tables. (you don’t have to donate to come pick stuff out.) Halloween costumes are especially great to donate. Upcycle the costumes your kids have outgrown, and give other kids the opportunity to enjoy them!
Volunteer – We need parent volunteers for our Fantastic Friday stations. Please sign up on Class Tag under Activities, if you are available.
Campus Clean-Up – Looking for a way to full-fill your 40 volunteer hours? Here’s a way to donate your time on a weekend and help brighten our school. Please come to Antioch Charter Academy 2’s Campus Clean-up on Saturday, Oct 14 from 9:00- 12:00. Any friend or family related to a student can volunteer. You don’t have to stay for the whole time, just as much as you want. Even an hour will help a lot.
Halloween Party – Each year, ACAII hosts a Halloween carnival for Primary and Elementary. If this is your first year with us, this is one of the most highly anticipated events at our school. The carnival is put together solely by parent (or guardian) volunteers. We set up booths with games and activities where the kids can win prizes. There will also be a costume parade before the party. This is such a fun event!! If you are interested in signing up to be a volunteer, please email Jes.seaman09@outlook.com.
If you can’t volunteer but would like to donate to the cause, you can send money into the office (please label money in a bag or envelope that is for primary/elementary Halloween party). We are asking for $5/student in the participating grade, but any amount will be gratefully accepted!
Lastly, we are trying to expand our games/activities for the party, and have a small list if anyone would be willing to help purchase. (please be aware that Halloween items go VERY quickly, so ordering sooner would be best.)
We appreciate all of you, and very much look forward to seeing everyone for this exciting event! Please contact Jes Seaman at Jes.seaman09@outlook.com |

On Friday they participated in their School Families, had a read aloud on Respect & Taking Care of Things, made art tracing metal insets, did a nest craft, drew a Narwal and kicked soccer balls into nets. |
