Week in Review

Last week we introduced letter Tt and began making words with a, m, s, t (ex: sat, mat, am).  We also introduced the number 3 and the shape circle.  We read a book about and discussed our Lifelong Guideline of Personal Best, being a part of a community, and being a good citizen. We introduce the Montessori Pracitcal Life jobs: tongs, tweezers; and Sensorial jobs: knobbed cylinders, knobless cylinders, shape matching.  In Language Arts we introduced the Object to Picture Montessori job. On Friday students painted a turtle, made a train craft, learned to draw a turtle and played bean bag toss.
