Back to School Bash – The Family Network Board is hosting the annual Back to School Bash this Friday 5:30-8:00 PM at the front of the school near the stage.  This event is for the whole family.  There will be food trucks for you to purchase dinner from and there will be games and activities for the kids.  This is a great way to meet and get to know other families at our school.

Week in Review

Last week we introduced letter Tt and began making words with a, m, s, t (ex: sat, mat, am).  We also introduced the number 3 and the shape circle.  We read a book about and discussed our Lifelong Guideline of Personal Best, being a part of a community, and being a good citizen. We introduce the Montessori Pracitcal Life jobs: tongs, tweezers; and Sensorial jobs: knobbed cylinders, knobless cylinders, shape matching.  In Language Arts we introduced the Object to Picture Montessori job. On Friday students painted a turtle, made a train craft, learned to draw a turtle and played bean bag toss.
