- Make up testing for those who missed testing days
Week 4 – Archaeology
Students presented their projects to the teachers for feedback. They should be making changes to improve their projects. See attached document for requirements. Ask your student to show you what they have done so far.
This Week’s Assignments/Homework: n ot inclusive – assignments may be added. Class assignments not finished during class become homework.
- Vocabulary: assignment due Thursday; quiz on Friday
- Literature Book: Wild Man Island by Will Hobbs; pacing guide, reflections, & quizzes
- Current Events: Artifact List #3-#4WMI Research an artifact from one of the ancient civilizations, create an artifact representative of one of the ancient civilizations (Create a two or three-dimensional representation of their artifact-Use clay,watercolor/oil painting, a sketch, a mobile, etc) and be prepared to tell the class about the artifact in a game of 20 questions; due Thursday
- CommonLit:CommonLit Pompeii; due Friday
- Young Author’s Portfolio: Finish compiling your portfolio (see attached document). This is due before Young Author’s Night – May 10th
- Math: CPM, Khan, POD, pacing guide with due dates, assessments on Fridays
