Elementary News:
Here are some wins from this last week!
We started having big class meetings and have put the kids in pods with a pod monitor. They love having a group to connect with and our pod monitors love the leadership role.
We’ve started Mystery Science! Ask your kids about how animals survive in cold weather!
Today we are doing a STEM project with jingle bells! Ask you child about their design challenge.
In our individual class meetings we are focusing on how to help kids who may experience anxiety. We are reading books, watching YouTube videos and having class discussions. This will begin Wednesday.
We have snack time every day at 10:15! We’ve been noticing that many kids don’t bring snacks but are hungry. Please check in with your child to see if they need a snack during the day.
Also, many kids are thirsty and don’t have a water bottle. If you have a morning checklist, would you put a water bottle on the list? That way the kids can stay hydrated throughout the day.
Yesterday, an order form for the Pizza Lunch Fundraiser went home. Please return the completed form along with payment to the office by 12:00 PM on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 7.
International Holiday Celebration – Elementary and Primary students will be performing a few songs for parents at our International Holiday Celebration
which will be at 10 AM on December 21st, more information coming soon.
