*Last Farm Visit for this year is next Tuesday, June 7th from 10-1:30. Our whole class will go out to the farm on this day to reflect on, and celebrate what has been learned & accomplished! Thank you to Mrs. Liang & Mrs. Gates for driving, We need drivers for this trip! If you can drive, please let us know, and how many kiddos you can take!
*Showcase of the Arts: is tomorrow Wednesday, June 1 from 6~8:15pm. This event showcases what your student has been learning/creating during their Enrichment times. See NETWORKings for details.
*8th Grade Trip is this Friday, June 3rd. 7th grade will have a normal school day (plus maybe something fun). 8th grade graduation is on Wednesday, June 8th at the Antioch Community Center. Graduates need to arrive by 4:15pm, ceremony begins at 4:30pm. Thank you to our 7th grade committee for all their hard work!
*Report Cards will go home with your student (paper copy) on Friday, June 10th. All CPM & Literatures need to be turned in!
Weekly Work (additional assignments may be added by teachers)
Writing: 7th grade students write an introduction for your 8th grade student. Due June 3; 8th grade students write your graduation speech due June 6.
Current Events: Present debates. Due today
Extreme Earth Project: Students should be taking what they heard from Practice, and be making changes to the presentation. Pre- Presentations on 5/31; regular presentations on 6/2
Science: Extreme Earth final on Thursday
Math: in class assignments
Passion Project: yearlong project. Students were given an hour a week in class to work on this project. Presentations due by June 6
