*8th Grade Girls Empowerment Project on Tuesday, April 26. Permission slip is due this Friday! Thank you to Mrs. Rapolas & Mrs. Kaifi for driving! Drivers need to be here by 8:50AM.
* Farm Visit to the Family Harvest Farm (Pittsburg) for experiential learning: Group 2 will be going out Friday, April 29th from 9:35am – 12pm. We need drivers for this trip. Please let us know if you can drive! Make sure your student is dressed appropriately for working on a farm! The rest of the students will have a normal school day.
*Smarter Balanced Summative Assessment (State Testing) for Middle School will take place 5/2, 5/3, 5/16, 5/17, 5/19, 5/20, 5/26, 5/27. Please do not schedule appointments on test dates (testing takes place in the mornings, before lunch).
*ACA & ACA II Middle School Spring Dance: on May 6, the two campuses will have a spring dance at the ACA campus. See attached flyer for more information

Writer’s Workshop: Portfolio of writing assignments Due towards the end of April
Passion Project: yearlong project with assorted benchmarks/due dates. Students are given an hour a week in class to work on this project. Ask your student how they are doing on the project!
Science Earth Systems Final (in class, unless they don’t finish then it is homework)
