Walk-a-Thon Packets

Walk-a-Thon envelopes will be returned home with your oldest child this week.  On the front of the envelope will be marked the number of laps each of your children completed at the Walk-a-Thon last Friday.  You can use this to collect any per lap donation pledges you received.  All donations must be returned to school in this envelope (or online via your 99Pledges page) by noon on Friday, May 6th in order to earn you raffle entries.   Remember that each grade level (Primary, Elementary, Intermediate and Middle) can earn a Root Beer float party if 60% of students collect donations and a Pizza Party if 70% of students collect donations.

A big thank you to the Walk-a-Thon planning team and all the parents who volunteered on Friday to make this special event a success!  Everyone had a lot of fun!!

Memory Book

Be on the lookout for Memory Book info coming home with your oldest student THIS WEEK! You will receive a packet with your order form, a sponsor letter and order form (to give to you hair stylist, dentist, chiropractor, etc. Sponsors help lower the cost of our book next year!), info about submitting a cover design, and for 8th grade families- an ads for grads form.

All photos for Memory Book need to be submitted before the end of APRIL! If you have any questions, please email the Memory Book team at acaiimemorybook@gmail.com or Karyn Engle at kengle@antiochcharteracademy.org

Scholastic Book Fair

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. Hosted by our staff, this event is an opportunity for students of all ages to build their home libraries and further their love of reading. As always, all purchases benefit our school.

After missing out on many beloved traditions, our spring Book Fair will be a familiar, welcome, and safe event for our students. Here’s what you need to know about the Fair, which will take place from 04/25/2022 – 04/29/2022 during lunch and after school in the Music Room.

Our Book Fair offers eWallet, a safe and secure alternative to cash. Simply create a free account to add funds and/or invite family and friends to contribute so your child can select their own books. Any unused funds can be spent at The Scholastic Store Online or to fund a future eWallet.

If you can’t make it to the Fair, then shop at our school’s Online Book Fair. All orders ship directly to your home, and shipping is free for book orders over $25. Your online orders will also benefit our school.

Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping:

We’re excited to celebrate our love of books together at the Book Fair. We look forward to seeing your child there!

Happy reading!
