Highlights
  • No school on Thursday, but there is school on Friday!  Students will start presenting their projects and will have a Writing Assessment on Friday (11/12).
  • 1st Trimester Report Cards will be emailed home on Friday, Nov. 19th
Weekly Work (additional assignments may be added by teachers)
 
Humanism Journal: Students will keep a response journal for the Renaissance unit. Students will create at least three (3) entries per week.  Finished journal is due Nov. 12
Writing Assessment: Friday, Nov 12
Humanities Unit Final: Friday, Nov 19th
Writing #4-5:  Due 11/12/21Write a short science fiction narrative that includes a reference to at least one of the following:
• Something you learned in science (force and motion, rocketry, engineering/design, chemical reaction (atoms/molecules) etc.) this year.
• Something connected to the Renaissance.
• Something connected to our concept of Balance.
Literature Book (The Vanishing Point):
   1.  Complete RJW #5Due Friday
Renaissance Project Projects should be done, and students should be practicing presenting.  Ask your student to show you their project! Presentations are on Nov 12th, Nov 16 & 18th.
Math:  Daily assignments, including classwork & homework.  Assorted due dates, & assessments are usually on Fridays.
Science (Space): Study Guide due this week.  Unit Final is next week.
Passion Project:  yearlong project with assorted benchmarks/due dates.  Students are given an hour a week in class to work on this project.  Ask what their focus is on. Ask your student how they are doing on the project!
