Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Staff Volume 25, Issue 31, May 3, 2021

Dear ACA families,

As we begin the first week in May, I can hardly believe we are in our last full month of school. This month is particularly joyful for me, because we are seeing the return of our middle school students.

Welcome back to campus!

One of my favorite programs at ACA is School Families. Students meet once a month as a mixed group of students from Primary through 8th grade.  This program is extremely valuable because  it requires the middle school students to plan activities that will include all grade levels.  Middle school students learn leadership, and the younger students are getting a chance to be included with older students which makes them feel valued. They really look up to these  mentor students!

I for one look with anticipation to time when we can return to these essential learning

programs. For now we celebrate the return of all grade levels to ACA!

What do you feel can be continued/added/modified to existing programs that would improve student growth/achievement?

Please take a moment to reflect and complete the attached survey.
