It’s CAASPP Testing Week!
Intermediate students will be CAASPP testing this week. In-person students will complete testing in their in-person sessions with their skills group teacher. Distance learning students have been invited to join us on campus for testing. Special education students with accommodations, as well as students with CAASPP accommodations on their 504 plan, will test with special education and RtI personnel in a small group in a separate room. Students are allowed to bring their own wired headphones and computer mouse for CAASPP testing if they’d like.
You can help your student prepare for CAASPP testing by:
Making sure they get a good night’s sleep each night
Making sure they eat a nutritious breakfast or lunch before the test
Sending them to school with a healthy snack
Talking with them about the importance of trying their best for our school, but reminding them that the scores on the test won’t have a negative impact on their report card
Bringing your students to school on time!
For students who are testing this week, there will be zero to very few assignments in their google classroom from their skills group teacher. This will allow students to concentrate on doing their best on the CAASPP test. Students who are not testing with us this week will have independent assignments in their google classroom.
Don’t forget to go to Instrumental Music!
If you are an instrumental music student, please add your instrumental music class to your schedule! It’s important for you to go every week. Be sure you check your Instrumental Music google classroom for zoom links and assignments. And don’t forget to practice!!

Es la semana de exámenes de CAASPP!
Los estudiantes de nivel intermedio tomarán la prueba CAASPP esta semana. Los estudiantes en persona completarán las pruebas en sus sesiones presenciales con su maestro de grupo de habilidades. Los estudiantes de educación a distancia han sido invitados a unirse a nosotros en el campus para realizar las pruebas. Los estudiantes de educación especial con adaptaciones, así como los estudiantes con adaptaciones CAASPP en su plan 504, realizarán la prueba con personal de educación especial y RtI en un grupo pequeño en un salón separado. Los estudiantes pueden traer sus propios auriculares con cable y el mouse de la computadora para las pruebas CAASPP si lo desean.
Usted puede ayudar a su estudiante a prepararse para la prueba CAASPP al:
Asegurarse de que duerma bien cada noche
Asegurarse de que tomen un desayuno o almuerzo nutritivo antes del examen
Enviarlos a la escuela con un refrigerio saludable
Hablar con ellos sobre la importancia de probar su lo mejor para nuestra escuela, pero recordándoles que las calificaciones en el examen no tendrán un impacto negativo en su boleta de calificaciones. ¡
Traiga a sus estudiantes a la escuela a tiempo!
Para los estudiantes que están evaluando esta semana, habrá de cero a muy pocas asignaciones en su aula de Google por parte de su maestro de grupo de habilidades. Esto permitirá a los estudiantes concentrarse en hacer su mejor esfuerzo en la prueba CAASPP. Los estudiantes que no estén evaluando con nosotros esta semana tendrán asignaciones independientes en su salón de clases de Google.
¡No olvide ir a Música Instrumental!
Si es un estudiante de música instrumental, ¡agregue su clase de música instrumental a su horario! Es importante que vayas todas las semanas. Asegúrese de consultar su aula de Google de Música Instrumental para ver los enlaces de zoom y las tareas. ¡¡Y no olvides practicar !!
