Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Staff Volume 25, Issue 21, February 9, 2021
Hello ACA family,
WASC: Western Association of Schools and Colleges (Accrediting Commission for Schools) Mid Cycle Review
Our school completed a successful two-day virtual visit with a WASC committee on February 1st and 2nd. The visit focused on our continued school improvement, the progress made towards our Schoolwide Action Plans, and our goals for the next 3 years.
During the visit, the committee members had an opportunity to join our online classes to observe our students engaged in learning. The committee also met with representative teachers, students, parents, and Charter Council members.
The Visiting Committee concurs that ACA has completed one of the goals (goal #6 – the focus was staff professional development) and has made significant progress with the other five goals. Moving forward, ACA will continue to work and make progress on these remaining goals.
Thank you for your continued support and participation in the WASC process.
Mr. Fuller
