Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Staff Volume 25, Issue 9, October 19, 2020
Hello Parents and Families,
As ACA gets ready to welcome students back to school we are looking over all of the safety precautions, student groupings (cohorts) and class times to safely welcome students and staff back to campus.
We are planning on having a phased opening with TK/K students coming back to school (first cohort), and possibly 1st grade students following shortly after. We feel it is crucial to get our youngest students back to school first.
In an effort to bring our first cohort (TK/K) to campus, we will be sending out a survey to those families to get a better idea of who is planning to return to campus. With this survey there will be a list of procedures and protocols that will be used when your child comes back to campus for in person instruction. As of now we do not have a start date, but we will keep in communication with TK/K families as planning moves forward.
Parents should look for surveys & offers for an opening for a second cohort, once we are able to successfully and safely bring in the first cohort (TK/K).
Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility!
Rebecca Zaccardi

Absences and Tardies – Daily Attendance is expected: If your student will be absent, or tardy, please call the office at 925-755-7311, or email your student’s classroom, before 8:00am. Even though we are currently doing Distance Learning, roll is still taken EVERY DAY.
Updates on Distance Learning and Reopening: ACA I and II will continue with fully Distance Learning until the November break. This means ALL students will be distance learning through November 20th.
