Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Stadff Volume 25, Issue 8, October 13, 2020
Dear ACA Families,
As we enter the 7th month of this pandemic, and likely several more months of disruption, I thought it would be fun to share a list of family activities and virtual tours that will help break up the winter months ahead. Fortunately, the weather rarely prevents outdoor exploration in our beautiful neck of the woods, but when it does, the “virtual” field trips listed could substitute for good family memories.
Enjoy!- Mrs. Cordova

Take a Hike or a Bike-Schedule a time each day for exercise, whether a bike ride, a walk, a dance party, or a kid-friendly Youtube workout video. | Bring on the board games. This classic family pastime has a hidden benefit: Board games can be good for kids’ linguistic, cognitive, and social development. |

This is a great opportunity to learn how to incorporate positive discipline at home, especially during distance learning. Please come prepared with questions on October 19 at 6:00-7:30pm. The meeting will be recorded and uploaded on our school’s website.
