Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Staff Volume 25, Issue 7, September 28, 2020
Hello,
Congratulations, we’ve made it to week seven! As a teacher and parent, I think it’s fair to say that distance learning requires a lot of patience, dedication, and perseverance. So, in the spirit of positive thinking and its benefits, I want to acknowledge some accomplishments that I have experienced and observed.
-Students, even young students, are focusing and participating in lessons through Zoom.
-Students are organizing their materials, space, and assignments.
-Students are engaging in and working on completing independent and collaborative work.
-Students are creating and making.
-Students are asking questions and expressing their feelings.
-Students are talking to one another; engaging in discussions, sharing ideas, and supporting one another.
-Students are connecting with teachers, aids, and their peers.
We are doing this together!
Sincerely,
Julie Nakayama (Elementary teacher)
