ACA INTERMEDIATE WEEKLY NEWSLETTER: WEEK OF AUGUST 24, 2019

FROM THE CLASSROOM:

Welcome to our first full week of school!

  • Students received their WOW folders in their packets that were picked up. They should be filling those out each week to stay on track with their work.

    (we’ll talk more about this at Back to School Night).

  • Please make sure your student is signed into Zoom on time, camera on and in a space that they will be able to work in.
 
We are creating a list of technology needs for students; if you notice that your student is having technical issues/difficulties please reach out. You may receive an email from Matt Dunn, he is our tech guy (a former ACA parent as well) to assist with internet issues that we have noticed so far.
 
 
Teacher Availability:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday (not Wednesday)
1pm-3pm
Intermediate Staff will be available via email during this time. 
 
Campus Office Hours
Monday-Friday 8am-12p
By appointment only – please call the office if you need to come to campus during these hours. 
Emails/Communication: (keep an eye out for these important emails)
  • Monday: WOW Report/Newsletter
  • Friday: Progress reports (what assignments students have turned-in/missing from the week before)
All assignments need to be completed and submitted by Fridays at 12pm

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT

Intermediate Back to School Night is on Thursday, August 27th 6pm via Zoom

  • Back to School Night begins at 6:00pm

  • ACA Intermediate Zoom Sign-in

**Please note this is really a meeting for parents.

At least one parent should attend for each student.

Students do not need to sign in.

FIRST WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY

We will have our first Wonderful Wednesday via Zoom this week!

A Wonderful Wednesday email with directions will be coming Tuesday.
