Research Binders are due this week!

This is a friendly reminder that completed research project binders are due Thursday!

Valentines

Students will be given time to pass out Valentines, if they choose, after Fantastic Friday classes on Friday, February 14th. They should bring a bag for collecting valentines and whatever they plan to pass out in the morning when they arrive at school. To make the process go smoothly, please have students sign that the Valentine is from them, but do not address them to individual students. If they choose to give out valentines they must either give to everyone in their skills groups or everyone Intermediate. Intermediate has a total of 65 students. Dubitsky- 24 students, Gonzalez- 20 students, Albertoni-21 students

We need Silent Auction Volunteers!

Have you heard about our amazing spring event, the Silent Auction? This will be our 10th year of bringing you a night of fun and merriment which includes a silent auction, raffle prizes, food, and of course, fundraising! The Silent Auction is a special event loved by many ACA II families and staff members that has helped to bring in over $5,000 each year for our program.

We are looking for a team of volunteers to help with planning the Silent Auction, which includes gathering donations and helping volunteer the day of the event. No prior experience is necessary to volunteer. We really need your help putting it on this year and we will have to cancel this event if we are unable to get more volunteers! If you are interested in helping out please email Miss Dubitsky right away at mdubitsky@antiochcharteracademy.org. Without you we cannot put on this event!!!

Some past popular electives and new ideas include: outdoor sports, board games, photography, recycle art, drama, woodworking, gardening, ultimate Frisbee, cooking, special effects makeup, filmmaking/editing, costume design, theater, zumba, foreign language, fun with science, fundraising, and video game design. We encourage new ideas too!
