Our Vision To provide a learning environment where students of all socio-economic levels and ethnic backgrounds embrace education, exhibit compassion, and accept personal responsibility
Our Mission The mission of the Antioch Charter Academies is to facilitate academic and personal growth of TK-8th grade students of all socio-economic levels and ethnic backgrounds. ACA enables 21st century students to become literate, self-motivated, innovative, lifelong learners, and compassionate, collaborative active citizens. We nurture and support a partnership of students, teachers, families and the community; embrace individual strengths; and build upon research informed educational best practices including Montessori, multiple intelligences, brain-compatible teaching, and multi-age groupings with small class sizes.
Newsletter for Antioch Charter Academy/TLCS Families and Staff Volume 24, Issue 13, November 18, 2019
Dear ACA Families,
Last week, the Middle School class got an exciting Experiential Educational experience when they took a Study Trip to the beautiful Yosemite Valley. Once again, the Middle School class stepped outside of the classroom to connect to the real-world while gaining a better understanding of biology, geology, ecology, environmental stewardship, self-confidence, and many other things. This trip also gave them a chance to make connections with Big Break Regional Park, which they visit at least one time per month.
We appreciate the staff and parents who take time to make these trips happen. Their involvement is one huge reason our school is such a special place. You are helping grow lifelong learners who have a deep understanding of the world outside of their own. Each one of these experiences help our students reach our graduate goals. Our students and staff appreciate the dedication you have shown.
Thank you once again,
Allen Stahler
Middle School
