From the Classroom

  • WOW (Work of the Week) Attached

  • Last week students were given an inventor for their 2nd Trimester projects; ask them who they got and what they invented.

  • Conferences: Conference Week is 11/18-11/22. Invitations for conferences were sent out via SignUp Genius; unless a parent/teacher conference is requested 6th grade students will not conference in November. If you did not receive a conference, but would like to schedule a conference, please email us, and we will try to accommodate you during that week.

  • Night of Writing Dangerously: November 23rd 6pm-9pm; Students are invited to participate in Mrs. Hummel’s annual writing event! Permission slips went home today. This is an optional event for students; cost $10 per student. Permission slips/payment due by 11/18.

  • Upcoming class events:

    • November 23rd: Night of Writing Dangerously (see above)

    • December 19th: Class Potluck (more info after break)

    • December 20th: Ice Skating Trip @ Big Chill in Pittsburg (more info after break)

  • Minimum Days 11/18-11/22 for Conference Week: 12pm Dismissal
