Hello ACAII families, the anti-discrimination group of middle school is having snack sale through THIS WEEK. The money that we receive will go to an organization called IMADR (The International Movement Against All Forms of Discrimination and Racism) https://imadr.org/. Some of the snacks that we will have are: Chips, water, caprisuns, popcorn, cookies, and brownies the cost will range at $1 to $3. The sale will take place at lunch and recess and after school everyday.
Christmas Tree Fundraiser
The deadline for pre-ordering trees is tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th. Ask friends, family, co-workers, doctor’s, aunts, uncles, grandparents and whomever you run into. Pre-purchased trees and wreaths will be available for pick up at 3325 Hacienda Way on Saturday, December 7th from 12 noon – 5pm, or will be delivered that day for a small fee.
We are hoping to receive at least 15 donated trees. We are also accepting items towards the donated trees such as lights, ornaments, stand and a family game.
Lots of free, fun activities will be happening at the tree lot on Dec. 8th. More details to follow!
Each dollar raised goes back to our children directly in class, ACAII community events, ACAII meetings (i.e, 2nd cup) and special programs. Fundraising Team is doing our best to provide a variety of options of ways to raise. This allows ACAII families the option to choose which fundraisers they would like to participate in. Listed below are upcoming events and what fund money is direct to. Extra fundraising catalogs are available in the office.

Cheetah family, many have asked for a Big Field Trip Fundraiser to help support the upcoming DC Trip. This year fundraising team is hosting a See’s Candy Holiday catalog sale for your family’s account. Profits gained back to ACAII through this fundraising event is funneled directly into your family’s ACAII account for you to use on any Big Field Trip. Please refer back to the Fundraising Informative Flyer Pinned onto our FB group about Big Field Trip accounts and uses. See’s Candy has a variety to awesomeness for stocking stuffers, gifts, gift certificates, hosting gifts, personal enjoyment, or even your favorite ACAII staff member!

We need you!!! Elective Help 2nd Trimester
We need volunteers to supervise/teach electives for our 4th-8th grade students. This is a vital part of our program allowing students to enjoy and be introduced to varied experiences.
4th – 8th grade students have electives from 2:00 – 2:55 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. 4th– 6th grade students have an additional elective 2:00 – 2:55 on Thursday.
Each elective is one day a week for one hour per day. Trimester 2 electives begin December 2nd and go through March 5th.
Some past popular electives and new ideas include: outdoor sports, board games, photography, recycle art, drama, woodworking, gardening, ultimate Frisbee, cooking, special effects makeup, film making/editing, costume design, choir, zumba, foreign language, fun with science, fundraising, roller skating and video game design. We encourage new ideas too!

These are professional musicians performing a Holiday Concert at El Campanil Theatre for free right here in Antioch.
Our ACA II Experienced and Intermediate Band & String Orchestra students have been invited to perform at our Holiday Tree Fund Raiser on Saturday, December 7 at Antioch Charter Academy in their multi-use room. They will perform from about 1:30 – 3:00 pm. Exact performance times will be announced later. Please save December 7 to come listen, shop, snack and enjoy this special event! There will be activities for younger students, so bring the entire family!
Absences & Tardies
It is extremely important that your student is in school every day, and arrives on time. If though your student is sick, or will arrive late because of an unexpected delay, please call the office, or email your student’s classroom and office by 8am. Students who arrive after 8:15am must be walked into the office by the driver, and signed in. All of these “rules” are in place to help keep your student safe! Contact information is below.
