WEEK OF NOVEMBER 11, 2019
NO SCHOOL MONDAY-VETERAN’S DAY
ACA will be closed on Monday, November 11, in observance of Veteran’s Day.
MOD PIZZA BRENTWOOD FUNDRAISER
Tuesday, November 12, the Family Network is having a Dining for Dollars fundraiser at Mod Pizza. Take in the flyer or inform the cashier when you order that you are supporting ACA.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK ORDERS
Scholastic book orders are due by December 2, in order for books to be received prior to the December break. Orders can be placed after December 2, but may not be delivered until after the December break.
Orders can be given to the teachers, or placed online at https://www.scholastic.com/
If you would like to order any books as gifts/surprises, please let the teachers know, and we will not give the books to the students directly, but instead give them to the parents.
MINIMUM DAYS-NEXT WEEK
Next week, the whole week is minimum days for conferences.
MINI SHOWCASE-NEXT WEEK
The Mini-Showcase will be on next Wednesday. Students will be coming home with information from the Wednesday teachers about the event. Since this is just a “mini” showcase, not every student will be performing. Please check with your student to see if they are performing, and if so, are they expected to wear or bring anything specific.
CLASSROOM PLAYS
Primary and 1st grade students are performing the play, “ Hansel and Gretel Eat Right”, and the 2nd and 3rd graders are performing the play, “Vacation to Mars”.
Students can bring in a blank CD to be burned, or $1.00 to purchase one of our blank CDs, if they wish to have a CD at home to practice with.
Play performances will be on Friday, November 22nd at 9:30 am.

ACA estara cerrada el Lunes 11 de Noviembre 2011 en observancia del dia de los veteranos.
RECAUDACION DE FONDOS EN MOD PIZZA BRENTWOOD
El Martes 12 de Noviembre la Red Familiar va a tener una recaudación de fondos de “Comida por Dólares” en Mod Pizza. Lleve el boletín o informe al registrador cuando de su orden que está apoyando a ACA.
ORDENES DE LIBROS DE SCHOLASTIC
Las órdenes de los libros de Scholastic tienen que entregarse antes de 2 de Diciembre para que se puedan recibir las órdenes antes del descanso de Diciembre. Se puede ordenar después del 2 de Diciembre pero puede que no sean entregadas hasta después del descanso de Diciembre.
Se pueden entregar las órdenes a los maestros o hacerlas en linea en https://www.scholastic.com/
Si le gustaría ordenar libros como sorpresa/ regalos por favor déjele saber al maestro para no darle los libros directamente al estudiante sino a los padres.
DIAS MINIMOS LA PROXIMA SEMANA
La proxima semana, la semana entera serán días mínimos para las conferencias. Next week, the whole week is minimum days for conferences.
MINI EXPOSISION LA PROXIMA SEMANA
La Mini-Exposición será el próximo Miércoles. Los estudiantes van a venir a casa con más información de parte de sus maestros del Miércoles. Como solo es exposision “mini” no todos los estudiantes estarán presentando algo. Por favor revise con su estudiante para veri si estará presentando algo y si ese es el caso, lo que se les requiere que usen o traigan específicamente.
OBRAS TEATRALES DE LA CLASE
Estudiantes de primaria y 1er grado van a actuar la obra teatral “Hansel y Gretel Comen Bien” ( “ Hansel and Gretel Eat Right”), y el 2ndo y 3er grado actuarán “Vacaciones a Marte” (“Vacation to Mars”).
Los estudiantes pueden traer un disco compacto en blanco para copiar la música o pueden comprar un disco de nosotros por $1 si quieren un disco con la música para practicar en casa. Las obras teatrales serán el Viernes 22 de Noviembre a las 9:30 am.
